In the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ostathi™ platform and Ostathi trademark and its operations are lawfully licensed to UniHouse Jordan, officially registered as University House for Consultation and Studies Ltd, under:

  • National Company Number: 200115162
UniHouse Jordan operates as the exclusive licensee of the Ostathi™ trademark within Jordan, pursuant to authorization granted by UniHouse Global Ltd, the trademark proprietor registered in the United Kingdom under Trademark Registration Number UK00004100389, Intellectual Property Office, United Kingdom.
Accordingly, UniHouse Jordan is the sole legally authorized entity responsible for the administration, representation, and enforcement of all matters concerning the Ostathi™ platform in Jordan. 
Any legal references, claims, disputes, or official communications concerning Ostathi’s presence or operations within Jordan must therefore be directed to UniHouse Jordan, which serves as the legal representative and point of contact for Ostathi™ in the jurisdiction of Jordan.

2. Introduction

Welcome to OSTATHI Platform ("we,” "us,” "our” or "platform”), a secure and interactive online educational platform based in Amman, Jordan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data of users ("you,” "user,” "tutor,” "trainer,” "instructor,” "teacher,” "educator,” "learner,” "student,” or "trainee”) when accessing our website, using our services, or interacting through communication channels provided by OSTATHI Platform
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. By using our platform, you consent to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

  • Users, including learners, educators, administrators, guests, instructors, trainers, and tutors and all listed as user in the introduction above.

This policy does not apply to external websites linked from our platform nor third parties. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

4. What Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

4.1. Personal Information Provided by You

When you create an account, enrol in a lesson, submit a query, or interact with support, we may collect:
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Address 
  • Educational background, degrees.
  • Financial Information: We collect payment details during transactions, as well as digital wallet or bank account information to process withdrawals for instructors and refunds for learners.
  • Any content voluntarily submitted via chat, forums, or assignments
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you select to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) sending us an email message; (c) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on our Site. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

  • Financial Operations: To process secure payments, calculate and apply platform service fees, manage credit within the Ostathi Wallet for both Learners and Instructors, and process manual withdrawal requests. This includes using financial information to facilitate refunds, issue gift cards, and manage instructor earnings.
  • Compliance: To meet legal obligations, ensure safety and rights of users and the OSTATHI Platform, and support internal processes for monitoring, evaluation, and performance assessment, including manual reviews of payments and withdrawals.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: We record sessions and monitor user activity for quality assurance, compliance with our terms, and to provide evidence for dispute resolution. This includes analyzing recordings for non-compliant behavior and verifying lesson delivery.
  • Dispute Resolution: Data, including communication logs, session recordings, and submitted evidence, is used to investigate and resolve disputes between users, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data in accordance with:
Jordanian data protection and sectoral regulations
International privacy standards (e.g., GDPR principles regarding consent, access, and erasure)
We rely on the following legal bases:
  • Your explicit consent (e.g., when signing up), which may be withdrawn at any time

You may request permanent deletion of your data by using the "Delete Account” option in your account settings. However, we will retain financial data as required by law to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Upon request, we will delete all personal identifiers and usage data, including backups where feasible, unless retention is legally required. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification.

  • Instructors or training partners when necessary for lesson delivery and only with your explicit consent.
  • Legal authorities, in response to lawful requests, court orders, or regulatory obligations limited to what is legally required.
  • Security and fraud prevention, when needed to protect the platform, users, or public from harm or misuse (where allowed by law).
  • All third parties are contractually bound to uphold the confidentiality, security, and lawful use of your information.

We retain children’s personal data only for as long as needed to provide educational services, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Upon account deletion, all personal data is securely and permanently removed from our systems.

Children’s data will not be shared with third-party services unless strictly necessary to deliver educational content (e.g., virtual whiteboard or video platform), and only with platforms that meet our privacy and security standards.

Disclaimer: While OSTATHI takes reasonable steps to verify parental or guardian consent for users under the age of 18, we cannot guarantee that all users have received such permission. By using the platform, you acknowledge that it is the responsibility of parents or legal guardians to monitor their child’s online activity and ensure that appropriate consent has been granted.
OSTATHI shall not be held liable for any unauthorized use of the platform by minors, or for any consequences arising from the failure of a parent or guardian to supervise or provide valid consent. We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account found to be in violation of our age-related policies or created without the required consent.

12. Communication and Email Policy

OSTATHI Platform may contact users via email or in-app notifications for the following reasons:
  • To confirm account activity, payments, or transactions

  • To deliver class reminders, learning content, or platform notifications

  • These communications fall into two categories:
  • Transactional communications: Required to use the platform and cannot be unsubscribed from (e.g., password resets, lesson confirmations)
